ABOUT EUCALAN Eucalan is a true "No Rinse" product. It's excellent for washing delicates such as wool, cashmere, silk, linen, etcetera. Eucalan contains lanolin which conditions and softens fibres. It also contains lavender or eucalyptus, both natural moth and flea inhibitors. Not only can you use Eucalan products to wash your delicates, it is also wonderful for special items like garments with beading, sequins, or metallic, leather & fur trim. It will spot-clean rugs, wash needlepoint chair seats and framed pictures, upholstery, and even washable sheepskin rugs and seat covers.
GENERAL INFORMATION If not properly cared for, wool sometimes shrinks and mats, caused by agitating when wet, improper water temperature & changes in water temperature, being dried at too hot a temperature, or by improper handling while washing. By using Eucalan, you needn't worry about different temperatures of wash and rinse waters, thus avoiding matting. Regular soap products remove the lanolin found in wool, and wool having any soap left in will be dull and lifeless. Angora in particular becomes sticky and matted. Eucalan however, conditions the wool and restores the fibres, thanks to the lanolin in our products.
